What does the Registration fee cover?
The registration fee will include two lunches, one dinner, four full coffee breaks and one evening reception.
What is the Disney EPCOT® Tour?
This is a half-day visit behind the scenes to the agriculture related exhibits in EPCOT at Disney World. Meet the EPCOT® Science Team in The Land Greenhouses. Enjoy coffee and breakfast as you go behind the scenes at The Land at Epcot to explore the wonders of growing food plants from around the globe! Meet Epcot horticulturists, agronomists, and college interns and let them show you how they grow a wide diversity of crops using a variety of unique hydroponic growing systems. Talk with plant pathologists and entomologists from Epcot about the beneficial insects and other integrated pest management strategies that they use to manage pest problems in these working greenhouses. Find out what's going on in the Biotechnology Lab at The Land, sponsored by USDA-ARS. Learn about environmental monitoring systems in the greenhouses and weighing lysimeters that manage the plants' water use and save water and nutrients in the process. This tour will take place on July 27.
Become an ASABE Member
There are many benefits associated to becoming an ASABE member other than reduced conference registration fees. It will be less expensive to first become an ASABE member and then register for the conference. ASABE membership fees are scaled to the member's country of origin according to the Wold Bank's classification of Country Economies.
